Our community action plan focuses on the axes: Social Development, Historical Heritage, Education and Culture and Sports and Healthy Living.
SQM LITIO PRESENT IN THE COMMUNITIES
The communities surrounding our operation in the Salar de Atacama are indigenous peoples of the Atacameña ethnic group, with whom we have promoted important social, educational, cultural and productive projects and initiatives; fruit of a policy of dialogue, rapprochement and collaboration with our neighbors and within a framework of mutual respect and recognition of its historical value. Our community work focuses on four lines of action: education and culture, social development, historical heritage, and healthier life (sport).
Among our programs we highlight the SQM Salar Apprenticeship Program, which promotes local employment, and other initiatives that strengthen education, culture, and sustainable development in the area.
